Turner Asphalt tested the new automation system on a full depth reclamation project in Louisburg, NC. The original job was slated to be a mill and replace the surface of parking areas. After milling, the base was found to be substandard, and the project quickly became a reclamation project. 12 inches of material was cement stabilized in order to prepare the lot for heavy traffic, and provide a stable base for years to come. Turner Asphalt is a full service provider, and was well equipped to handle the reclamation project in house with their own fleet of equipment and trained personnel.
The newly reclaimed and stabilized lot was the perfect environment to test out the new commercial averaging beam arrangement on Turner's Leeboy 8616 paving machine.
